What this role involves

Who We Are:

Being naked is the #1 most sustainable option. We’re #2.

Since 2009, we’ve been on a mission to bring sustainable fashion to everyone. Named one of Fast Company’s Brands That Matter and winning a Best Carbon Footprint award, we have big goals like being Climate Positive by 2025, Circular by 2030, and pushing the whole industry forward along the way.Our work has gotten love in Drapers and Sourcing Journal, and TIME wrote about how great our CEO, Hali Borenstein, is. Basically, we’re saving the Earth and looking damn good doing it.

We’re a global brand with 50+ stores (and counting) around the world, and our own sustainable factory in LA. We innovate across categories like accessories, swimwear, and sleepwear, and we reach millions of people with campaigns like this, this and this.

None of this work is possible without the incredible people behind it. We’re a mission-based company that invests in an inclusive culture, so we can innovate together and ensure everyone has the space to grow, thrive, and belong.

And starting right now, we want to do all that with you.

Work Location/ Schedule: Based in Los Angeles, 4 days a week in the office.

The Denim Design Assistant is a key support role on Reformation’s in-house Design team, contributing across all phases of the design and product development process — from concept and research through final handoff. This exciting role will report to our Director of Denim Design, and will be supporting one of our most exciting new categories! This role keeps the creative engine running smoothly, partnering closely with designers, Merchandising, Product Development, and Technical Design to move work forward with precision and care. Our ideal candidate is passionate about denim design, highly organized and detail-oriented, and equally comfortable building a mood board and updating styles in our PLM system. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, take pride in the quality of your output, and understand that great design depends as much on process as on ideas.

What You’ll Do:

  • Assist designers with denim concept development, trend research, and seasonal inspiration gathering
  • Build and maintain mood boards, color stories, and presentation decks for internal reviews and cross-functional meetings
  • Prepare and organize design sketches, tech packs, and CADs for vendor communication and line reviews
  • Track sample status, fit comments, and revision notes across styles; attend fittings and communicate updates to cross-functional partners
  • Coordinate with Production and Technical Design on timing, revisions, and product development milestones
  • Conduct ongoing market and competitive research; shop the market in person and online and summarize findings for the team
  • Maintain and organize the design library: fabric swatches, trims, references, and archive samples
  • Support with wash development and denim related tasks
  • Manage design team calendars, scheduling, and vendor follow-ups to keep the studio running efficiently

What You’ll Bring:

  • 2–3 years of experience in apparel design, denim design experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop; familiarity with InDesign a plus
  • Experience with AI-enabled creative tools like Mid Journey and NanoBanana is a plus
  • Experience with PLM systems or product tracking tools is a plus
  • Strong presentation skills across PowerPoint, Keynote, or Google Slides
  • Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Apparel, or a related field

Who You Are:

  • Organized and detail-oriented — nothing falls through the cracks on your watch
  • A proactive communicator who follows through without being prompted
  • Genuinely curious about fashion, design, and the product development process
  • Collaborative and low-ego — you’re here to support great work and help the team move faster
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and energized by a fast-moving, creative environment
  • Genuinely passionate about sustainability and aligned with Reformation’s values
  • Based in Los Angeles (or planning to relocate) and able to work in a hybrid model out of our HQ

Application process: P lease submit your resume and in lieu of a cover letter, please prepare a short trend concept presentation for Reformation Fall 2026 with a focus on DENIM DESIGN featuring 3–4 original directional ideas. Each concept should be brought to life visually through a curated mix of references including influencers, street style, runway, vintage imagery, cultural inspiration, silhouettes, styling, color, fabrics, or details that capture the mood and point of view behind the trend.

Compensation:

At Reformation, we believe in transparency and equity when it comes to compensation. For this role, the anticipated base hourlyrange is $25-$30 / hour, depending on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and internal compensation equity.

This role may also be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a range of factors, including company performance, department goals, and individual contributions. Bonus amounts and eligibility are not guaranteed and are determined at the company’s discretion.

Please note that compensation decisions are made thoughtfully and may vary from the listed range to reflect individual circumstances and evolving business needs. Our total rewards package also includes benefits, perks, and opportunities for growth that contribute to overall compensation.

Benefits & Perks:

  • Eligible employees get employer-sponsored private medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as commuter benefits to help support your travel to and from work.
  • We offer competitive paid time off policies including vacation, sick leave, and company holidays for eligible employees.
  • We offer retirement planning support for eligible employees, including the option to invest in Environmental Social Governance-aligned (fancy way to say sustainable) funds.
  • We’re a mission-based company with offices in LA, NYC and London, as well as a global retail team, which means you’ll get to collaborate with people all around the world.
  • You’ll get access to fertility care support through Carrot, and up to a $5,000 USD reimbursement for related fertility expenses after 1 year of employment.
  • We care about the causes our employees care about so we donate to community efforts on a yearly basis.
  • We offer a clothing discount, culture events (like our annual Ref Values week and Volunteer Time Off), you know, all the meaningful and fun stuff!

Reformation is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. We’re committed to building a diverse and inclusive team that reflects the world we want to live in. All qualified applicants will be considered for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, age, or veteran status—in accordance with applicable international, federal, state, and local laws.

If you require accommodations during the application or interview process, please let us know. We’re here to ensure you have what you need to show up as your best self.

Still don’t know if you should apply? We get it— studies show that many women and individuals from historically underrepresented communities hold back from applying unless they meet every single requirement. At Reformation, we’re all about growth, not gatekeeping. If you’re passionate about the role and excited about making fashion more sustainable, we’d love to hear from you. If this role doesn’t totally excite you, consider applying to our general application.

Design Toptal: Junior Apparel Product Designer | Remote

Junior apparel product designer supports the design team through sketches, CADs, fittings, and presentations while learning the full product development process from concept to production.

Junior Remote Posted 15 days ago We Work Remotely — Programming
What this role involves

Headquarters: Remote
URL: https://www.toptal.com/

About the Role

We're looking for a Junior Apparel Product Designer to support Designers and Senior Designers across multiple product categories, helping bring seasonal concepts to life from initial idea through final product. You'll get hands-on exposure to the full design process — sketches, fittings, materials, and presentations — while building the technical and creative foundation to grow into a stronger designer. If you're early in your career and want real involvement in how products actually get made, not just observing from the sidelines, this is built for that.

What You'll Do

  • Partner closely with Designers and Senior Designers across multiple product types, from initial idea through final product

  • Create and maintain sketches, CADs, line sheets, and presentation materials that communicate design intent, construction, materials, and functionality

  • Participate in fittings, design reviews, and cross-functional meetings — capturing feedback, tracking updates, and keeping product information organized

  • Collaborate with Development, Technical Design, and Materials teams to support strong, thoughtful product execution

  • Maintain and update seasonal narratives and product storytelling documentation

  • Contribute research and inspiration to inform the design process

  • Prepare files, mockups, prototypes, and assortment organization for milestone moments and presentations

  • Build hands-on understanding of materials, trims, fabrications, and construction methods

  • Contribute to a collaborative team environment while growing your creative voice, technical skills, and design confidence

What You Bring

  • 0–2 years of industry experience, including internships and placements

  • BA, BFA, or BS in Fashion Design, Textile Design, Apparel Design, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign

  • Strong interest in textiles, materials, and apparel design

  • Foundational design skills supporting garments or products that are aesthetically compelling, functional, and commercially viable

  • Ability to support mock-ups, tech sketch updates, and detailed note-taking during fittings

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas visually and verbally and incorporate feedback

  • Curious, detail-oriented mindset around how materials and construction come together in a finished product

Nice to Have

  • Category-specific experience (e.g., knitwear, accessories, outerwear, footwear) relevant to the engagement

  • Experience with product lifecycle management (PLM) tools

Why This Role

  • Full-process exposure: Support the complete seasonal design cycle across multiple product categories, not a single narrow task

  • Hands-on collaboration: Work directly alongside Designers, Development, Technical Design, and Materials partners

  • Real skill-building: Strong exposure to fittings, product storytelling, presentation prep, and material exploration

  • Career runway: A genuine growth path for designers early in their career

  • Hourly rate: $25-$30/hr

How to Apply

Ready to bring your design eye to a hands-on seasonal design process? Apply through Toptal here: https://www.toptal.com/talent/apply

Design Designer II at TEECOM

Designer II creates BIM models, coordination documentation, and construction drawings while developing technical skills in building information modeling standards and clash detection workflows.

Junior Posted 28 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About the Position

The Designer II is an entry-level contributor focused on strengthening discipline knowledge, advancing modeling capability, and taking greater ownership of coordination and documentation across projects. You’ll apply workflows, tools, and BIM standards with increasing independence while supporting engineers and project teams in delivering coordinated construction documents.

You’ll contribute to project delivery through modeling, drawing updates, coordination support, documentation, and early QA activities. As your technical understanding grows, you’ll take on more complex coordination and documentation responsibilities across Telecom/ICT, Audiovisual, Security, Acoustics, Network, Wi-Fi, and other technology disciplines as applicable.

Working closely with engineering mentors, production staff, and project teams, you’ll help maintain model quality, support coordination efforts, and reinforce TEECOM’s BIM and documentation standards. You’ll begin identifying coordination risks, improving model organization, and contributing to more efficient project workflows.

This position reflects growing technical confidence, increased independence, and consistent application of TEECOM’s modeling, coordination, and documentation standards.

Developing Technical Execution and Coordination

  • As a Designer II, your impact comes from growing independence, increasing coordination awareness, and your ability to maintain model health and documentation quality. You contribute in three key ways:

Learn From Mentors and Project Teams

  • You build independence by taking on modeling, documentation, and early coordination work with moderate supervision.
  • You strengthen project delivery by preparing work that anticipates next steps for production and engineering teams.
  • You improve coordination quality by working with cross-discipline teams to resolve straightforward modeling issues.
  • You grow your BIM capability by developing proficiency in clash detection, model aggregation, and review workflows in Navisworks or ACC.

Contribute to Team Learning and Collaboration

  • You build your skills and support team learning through structured training journeys, mentorship, and hands-on project experience.
  • You help improve team processes by sharing lessons learned, asking questions, and offering feedback that enhances documentation and standards.
  • You support consistency and quality by updating standards, notes, and documentation—while beginning to help guide Designer I team members.
  • You elevate team performance by contributing to discussions on project challenges, coordination risks, and opportunities to improve production workflows.

Improve the TEECOM System

  • You reinforce consistency and clarity across projects by applying TEECOM’s production and BIM standards—including naming conventions, linking practices, view templates, worksets, and model organization.
  • You support coordinated delivery by maintaining accurate, well-organized models, markups, notes, and documentation with minimal rework.
  • You enhance quality by identifying issues in models, drawings, or workflows early and raising them proactively to senior staff.
  • You help evolve TEECOM’s system by offering thoughtful suggestions to improve production templates, views, families, and modeling workflows.

What Success in this Position Looks Like

  • You produce accurate, coordinated Revit models, drawings, and documentation with minimal rework.
  • You complete most production tasks independently and clarify direction early.

What this role involves

Headquarters: New York
URL: http://Loosegrip.net

Bring the ideas. Polish the pixels. Make campaigns pop.

At LooseGrip, we're a boutique digital consultancy that transforms brands through data-inspired storytelling and performance marketing. We're looking for a Junior Designer to support our digital marketing campaigns-someone with a strong eye, a curious mind, and the hustle to turn briefs into beautifully executed visuals. This is a part-time contract role with flexible hours and real opportunities to grow alongside a tight-knit team.

What You'll Do

  • Design for the scroll. Create on-brand social graphics, paid ad creative, email assets, and landing page visuals for a range of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Bring briefs to life. Translate creative direction and campaign goals into clean, compelling design that drives engagement and performance.
  • Stay on brand. Work within established brand systems, applying guidelines consistently across formats, channels, and clients.
  • Iterate fast. Take feedback in stride, refine quickly, and produce multiple variations to support A/B testing and campaign optimization.
  • Collaborate seamlessly. Partner with strategists, copywriters, and client experience managers to ensure every asset hits the mark.

What You Bring

  • A solid portfolio. You have 1-3 years of design experience (internships and freelance count) with samples that show range across digital marketing formats.
  • Design tool fluency. You're at home in Figma and the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), including motion basics (After Effects, Premiere Pro). Bonus points for familiarity with email design tools.
  • AI curiosity and comfort. You're proficient in AI tools for ideation and efficiency (and know when to reach for them), but your instincts as a designer are always in the driver's seat.
  • A digital-first eye. You understand how design works in feeds, inboxes, and ad placements and you design with the end platform in mind.
  • Attention to detail. Typography, alignment, color, export specs-you sweat the small stuff because you know it adds up.
  • A self-starter mindset. You're a grown-ass adult who manages your time well, asks smart questions, moves work forward independently, and communicates well asynchronously and virtually with teammates through tools like ClickUp, Figma reviews, and Slack chats.
