Marketing Senior Manager, Product Marketing (Hybrid @ Bellevue, WA) at OfferUp

Senior manager drives consumer lifecycle and engagement marketing campaigns using data, AI tools, and experimentation while overseeing a product marketing team.

Senior Hybrid Posted 2 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About OfferUp

OfferUp believes all value starts local. Our marketplace makes it easier for people and businesses to find more of what they need, right where they are - from great deals and secondhand finds to local services, rentals, jobs, and new customers.

We’re building the next chapter of OfferUp, and Consumer Marketing has an important job to do: create future supply and demand, capture existing demand efficiently, reactivate people who already know us, and connect our investment to our strongest local marketplaces.

The role

This role sits in our product org, reporting to our Senior Director of Product, and is a unique hybrid of hands-on individual contributor (IC) work and people management. You will directly oversee our product marketing team while also rolling up your sleeves to execute campaigns and conduct data analysis to drive key business outcomes.

We’re looking for someone seasoned in consumer lifecycle and engagement marketing and traditional go-to-market motions, whose instincts skew toward growth marketing in a fast-paced environment: spotting supply and demand opportunities, moving quickly while the window is open, and measuring real business outcomes.

You’ll work directly with data and AI tooling and will be hands-on with LLM agents, and self-serve experimentation. The sweet spot is a marketer with foundational marketing expertise in storytelling, positioning, and messaging frameworks, combined with a growth operator’s mindset and speed.

What you’ll do

  • Turn marketplace supply and demand signals into marketing action: own the loop from identifying to executing campaigns quickly and in a scalable way.
  • Drive consumer lifecycle and engagement marketing across push, email, and in-app channels: activation, engagement, and reactivation for both buyers and sellers.
  • Work both sides of the marketplace: grow supply where demand is outpacing it, and demand where supply runs deep.
  • Build repeatable playbooks and a rolling demand calendar with engineering and Data Science, so recurring opportunities launch fast and get smarter every cycle.
  • Design and read your own experiments (we use Statsig), and measure impact in marketplace outcomes.
  • Own positioning, messaging, and launch go-to-market for the product surfaces and marketplace moments you touch.
  • Brief and enable creative, lifecycle, paid, and comms partners with insight-led messaging that scales from national beats to local markets.
  • Use AI tooling and working SQL to self-serve analysis, compress campaign operations, and multiply your own output.

What you’ll bring

  • 8+ years spanning product marketing, lifecycle/engagement marketing, or growth marketing in consumer tech—marketplaces or e-commerce strongly preferred.
  • Proven experience managing, mentoring, and scaling high-performing marketing teams.
  • Depth in consumer lifecycle and engagement marketing: you’ve owned push, email, and in-app programs and can show the engagement and retention outcomes.
  • Traditional GTM craft with a portfolio to prove it: positioning, messaging frameworks, and launches led end-to-end.
  • A growth marketer’s bias in a fast-paced environment: comfort with short cycles, event- and trend-driven opportunity, and incrementality as the bar.
  • Working SQL and comfort in a modern data warehouse (BigQuery preferred). You validate numbers yourself.
  • Hands-on AI fluency: you use LLM tools in real workflows today, with good judgment about where they need human review.
  • Experimentation literacy: you’ve designed and read A/B and geo-based tests and understand holdouts.
  • Excellent, fast writing that holds up at every altitude, and clear communication that surfaces risks early.
  • A low-ego, high-ownership approach. You care more about catching the window than protecting the plan.
  • Ability to cultivate talent, provide clear professional development, and foster a culture of ownership and collaboration.
  • Track record of leading through influence, aligning cross-functional partners, and navigating complex organizational structures to deliver shared business goals.

Extra credit

  • Local or hyperlocal marketplace experience where market-level (DMA) thinking is second nature.
  • Experience marketing around weather, live events, or release calendars: retail, ticketing, travel, resale, or CPG demand planning.
  • Familiarity with CRM/lifecycle platforms (Braze, Iterable, or similar) and geo-based or matched-market measurement.
  • Prompt-engineering or light scripting skills, or experience partnering with data science on forecasting.

What success looks like

  • High-confidence demand signals get actioned quickly—or explicitly no-go’d with rationale. Windows stop passing us by.
  • Campaigns show measurable incremental transactions, GMV, and listings versus control markets, on both sides of the marketplace.
  • Lifecycle and engagement programs demonstrably lift activation, engagement, and reactivation.
  • The demand calendar calls opportunities before they peak, and its hit rate improves each quarter.
  • The playbooks and AI workflows you build make the whole marketing team faster—not just your own campaigns.

Why OfferUp

This is an opportunity to build a marketing motion most companies can’t run yet: AI-detected demand, activated with local precision, measured in real marketplace outcomes.

You’ll inherit live demand intelligence, established channels, and real scale.

Compensation: $210,000 - $230,000

OfferUp offers a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. Individual salaries within our ranges are determined through a variety of factors including, but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  All roles will receive equity in OfferUp as part of their compensation, the amount of equity varying depending on the individual’s level and experience.

In addition to our compensation package, this role is eligible to enroll in health insurance, healthcare savings and spending accounts, retirement savings benefits (401(k) plan with match), basic and voluntary life insurance, disability benefits, and paid time off for sick leave, family and/or medical leave, vacation, and 12 company holidays. In regard to vacation time, OfferUp has a flexible vacation policy and, in general, full-time exempt employees will be expected to take 3-5 weeks (15-30 days) of pre-planned vacation time per year.  Vacation needs are flexible and will naturally vary from year to year based on individual circumstances and business needs. In regard to sick time, all full-time employees (exempt and non-exempt) will be granted 12 days (96 hours) of sick time per year (pro-rated if they start a date other than January 1). Your recruiter can share more details about specific benefits during the interview process.

  • Promoting events, webinars, product updates and new features to our client base
  • Helping create useful content that enables clients to get more value from LEAP
  • Supporting the monthly client newsletter and other ongoing client communications

What you’ll bring

  • A qualification in Marketing, Business or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and a genuine willingness to learn
  • Confidence working independently as well as collaboratively within a team

Desirable

  • Experience using marketing automation or CRM platforms such as Pardot, Salesforce or similar
  • Familiarity with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads or paid social campaigns
  • Previous experience in professional services, legal, B2B or software marketing
  • A full driving licence to support travel to events when required

o   LEAP is an inclusive, people-first company committed to breaking down institutional barriers that keep people from reaching their potential. If you meet some, but not all of the requirements above, we encourage you to still submit your application.

You’ll be part of a small, close-knit team in Dublin, while also working closely with a large global marketing function. • Working with the wider Marketing team to strengthen LEAP’s position as a leading premium legal software brand in Ireland
  • Supporting the delivery of digital campaigns across platforms including Pardot, Salesforce, Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and social media
  • Helping to build, launch and monitor campaigns designed to generate new business leads
  • Reviewing campaign performance and identifying opportunities to improve results

Client Communications

  • Working closely with Operations and Customer Success to deliver clear, engaging communications to existing LEAP clients

What you’ll get

Career & Growth

  • Generous professional development fund
  • Support for training, learning, and career progression

Health & Wellbeing

  • Private health insurance (including dental and optical)

What this role involves

Probably the least boring job you’ll ever have.

At air up, we don’t just make bottles. We unbore water with flavor by scent. It makes no sense until you try it, and once you do, there’s no going back. Behind it all are teams pushing boundaries every day. Product bends taste and design in new directions. Marketing turns ideas into moments people talk about. Operations makes sure those moments reach hands everywhere.

Working here feels like stepping on stage: professionalism meets passion, curiosity meets courage. You’ll experiment, fail fast, learn faster, and actually see your ideas come to life. It’s refreshingly low politics and low ego. Just smart, driven people who lift each other up and make things happen. And whatever happens, it sure won’t be boring.

Welcome to air up.

Marketing Senior Director, Marketing at Studs

Senior Director leads integrated marketing function across brand, digital, retail, and lifecycle channels to drive customer acquisition, retention, and brand equity for a premium retail brand.

Exec Hybrid Posted 13 days ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Studs is a category-defining ear piercing and earring brand named one of “the 10 most innovative companies in retail for 2023” by Fast Company. Studs connects ear piercing with aftercare and earring shopping to create an end-to-end Earscaping® experience. We offer a better retail and digital experience that prioritizes safety and expertise in a cool, fun and welcoming environment, along with a wide earring assortment—all at an accessible price point.

The Senior Director, Marketing leads the full marketing function and is accountable for the integrated system that drives customer acquisition, studio traffic and conversion, retention, and long-term brand equity — with brand, retail marketing, digital, lifecycle, and creative all operating as one coherent engine.

Reporting to the CEO, this role sits at the center of Studs’ commercial engine at a pivotal stage: a strong brand foundation, an evolving growth engine, and rising operational sophistication across the company. The Senior Director owns the integrated marketing calendar, leads a team of experienced marketers, and partners closely with Merchandising, Retail Operations, Finance, and People to translate company goals into integrated plans. The work spans long-range brand and customer strategy through to weekly performance optimization, and the role is expected to operate fluently across both.

This role is ideal for a leader who has built and run a full-stack marketing organization at a premium consumer, retail, or omnichannel brand, and who treats marketing as a connected system rather than a set of channel silos. The right candidate has strong commercial instincts, makes decisions with the discipline of an operator and the judgment of a brand steward, and is energized by environments where strategy and execution sit in the same week.

Salary Range: $200,000–$230,000 + equity

Location: HQ (New York, NY) — Hybrid

Key Responsibilities:

Integrated Marketing & Customer Growth

  • Own the integrated marketing strategy and calendar across brand, retail, digital, and lifecycle, aligned to product launches, studio openings, and seasonal moments.
  • Drive customer acquisition efficiency and grow the active customer base, connecting marketing investment to revenue outcomes.
  • Define annual and quarterly marketing priorities, goals, and measurement frameworks in partnership with the CEO and leadership team.
  • Lead marketing inputs into company planning, OKRs, and business reviews, ensuring every plan is tied to a commercial outcome.

Retail & Studio Marketing

  • Drive studio traffic, appointment conversion, and customer return across the Studs footprint.
  • Build the new studio opening playbook, ensuring local marketing investment translates into measurable ramp performance.
  • Partner with Retail Operations and Merchandising to align launches, promotions, and seasonal moments with in-studio execution.

Lifecycle, Retention & E-commerce

  • Improve customer retention and LTV through segmentation, lifecycle programs, and re-engagement strategy.
  • Own marketing’s contribution to e-commerce performance, including site experience, lifecycle programs, and list growth.
  • Guide strategy and execution across paid media, SEO, email and SMS, influencer, content, organic social, and site merchandising.

Team, Brand & Creative Stewardship

  • Lead and develop a team of senior marketers across brand, retail, digital, and lifecycle disciplines.
  • Set the operating rhythm for the marketing organization, including planning cycles, performance reviews, and reporting.
  • Maintain consistency of voice, positioning, and creative standards across every consumer touchpoint, from paid media to the in-studio experience.
  • Manage internal and external creative resources and agency partners, ensuring strong output and clear accountability.

Marketing Operations & Performance

  • Own the full marketing budget and forecasting in partnership with Finance and E-commerce, including reforecasting against actuals.
  • Build the measurement, attribution, and reporting discipline needed to make confident channel-mix decisions and shift spend as the business evolves.
  • Report performance, learnings, and recommendations to the CEO and leadership team on a recurring cadence.

Tools We Use:

We don’t expect candidates to know every tool, but familiarity with similar platforms is a plus.

  • CRM and Email/SMS: Klaviyo.
  • E-commerce: Shopify.
  • Paid Media: Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics, Looker.
  • Creative and Workflow: Figma, Notion, Asana.
  • CX and Engagement: Zendesk, Loop Returns, Yext, Delighted.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of marketing experience in high-growth premium consumer, retail, or omnichannel environments.
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience, including direct management of senior-level reports.
  • Proven track record building and running integrated marketing strategies that connect brand, retail, digital, and lifecycle into one coherent engine.
  • Deep experience leading multi-channel execution: paid media, organic social, influencer, email and SMS, retail marketing, and site merchandising.
  • Strong command of digital performance and attribution, with the judgment to adjust channel mix based on ROI and stage of business.
  • Demonstrated experience leading lifecycle and retention programs, including segmentation, re-engagement, and list growth.
  • Experience managing creative development across in-house teams and external agency partners.
  • Strong cross-functional operator with a track record of partnering closely with Retail, Merchandising, Finance, and Operations to drive shared outcomes.
  • Based in New York and able to work from the HQ office on a hybrid schedule.

Benefits & Perks

  • Flexible Work Environment (3 days in office, 2 days work from home)
