Project Management Smart Fridge Launch Manager at CookUnity

Leads end-to-end launch operations for Smart Fridge expansion, managing deployment timelines, vendor networks, site readiness, and building repeatable operational systems across 80-100+ new units.

Senior Posted about 20 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About CookUnity:

Food has lost its soul to modern convenience. And with it, it has lost the power to nourish, inspire, and connect us. So in 2018, CookUnity was founded as the first-of-its-kind platform that connects the world with the source of truly great food: chefs. Today, CookUnity delivers 50 million meals a year from the industry’s best chefs to homes all over the country. Fresh. Ready-to-eat. And crafted with the passion that nourishes body and soul.

Unwilling to stop there, CookUnity is expanding beyond delivery to become an ever-innovating marketplace focused on our singular mission: empower Chefs to nourish the world.

If that mission has you hungry in more ways than one, you’ve found the right job posting.

The role:

If you’re looking for a role where you manage at a distance and review decks, this is not it. If you want to own a program that will grow from $5M to $10M+ ARR this year, and leave it more structured than you found it, keep reading.

CookUnity’s Smart Fridge program is scaling from ~$5M to $10M+ ARR in H2 2026: a standalone business within CookUnity with its own unit economics, client verticals, and operational complexity. That means 80-100 new unit deployments across office, factory, and real estate accounts, a full product upgrade rollout across the existing fleet, and building the infrastructure that makes all of it repeatable.

The model is proven. The question is whether expansion can become systematic rather than bespoke. The bottleneck is no longer sales; it’s ops readiness, installation speed, and launch quality. That’s what this role exists to solve.

This is a player-coach position and for a project management expert. You’ll lead the full launch function end-to-end and still get into the field when it matters. The systems you build here will eventually let you step back, but right now, you need to build them while running.

What You Own:

Operational Readiness

Before a fridge goes live, everything upstream has to be right. This function owns the full build layer, from signed contract to a fridge that is ready to operate on day one.

  • Translate sales commitments into executable launch plans with confirmed timelines and sequencing
  • Conduct site assessments and confirm readiness before any equipment moves
  • Manage equipment procurement, inventory staging, and 3PL logistics across every active market
  • Build and maintain a reliable network of installation and maintenance vendors in every metro we operate in
  • Configure systems, integrations, and device setup ahead of go-live
  • Ensure warehouse and storage capacity scales ahead of deployment volume, not behind it
  • Own the master launch calendar across all active and pipeline locations
  • Track launch performance: on-time rate, cost vs. budget, escalation rate per launch

Launch & Engagement

Once a fridge is live, the work is just beginning. This function owns the activate layer and everything that determines whether a new unit actually performs. In the near term, you will run this function directly while building the model that makes it scalable and delegable.

  • Own the onsite launch experience from day one
  • Drive user onboarding and build adoption within the first 30 days
  • Monitor early engagement signals and intervene before a location goes cold
  • Execute re-engagement activations when penetration rates dip
  • Maintain the field feedback loop that surfaces menu, ops, and product insights back into the business
  • Map the customer journey by vertical (office, factory, real estate) and ensure the launch model is calibrated accordingly
  • Own and continuously improve the national launch playbook; it should be a living document, not a one-time deliverable

Product Upgrade Rollout

In parallel with new deployments, you will personally lead two concurrent upgrade rollouts across the existing active fleet:

  • Computer Vision: Coordinate with Tech on hardware/software deployment, testing protocols, and fleet-wide rollout sequencing. 100% of active units upgraded and operationalized by end of September 2026, with zero disruption to active locations
  • Shelf Pusher & Branding V2: Own the physical installation and ops integration across the fleet, including updated SOPs for drivers and hub staff, with clean handoffs that don’t create downstream ops debt

Cross-Functional Accountability

  • Sales: Enforce launch sequencing discipline and manage timeline expectations before commitments are made externally
  • Logistics: Drive 3PL readiness and new market infrastructure ahead of launch commitments
  • Tech: Active driver on system configuration, integration testing, and launch-blocking issues, not a passive stakeholder
  • Finance: Align on capex tracking, PO approval flow, and cost visibility across the launch portfolio

Qualifications:

  • 6-10 years in operations, field services, retail expansion, or consumer-facing launch functions
  • Genuinely hands-on; comfortable doing the work yourself, not just directing others
  • Proven track record managing concurrent hardware or physical infrastructure rollouts across multiple sites
  • Experience scaling operational functions into repeatable, autonomous engines
  • Strong financial fluency: budget ownership, cost-per-unit tracking, capex management
  • Comfortable in ambiguity; bias toward action over analysis paralysis
  • Sharp cross-functional instincts; able to drive alignment across Sales, Tech, Logistics, and Finance without formal authority
  • Willingness to travel for launch oversight, market builds, and field audits
  • Experience building operational playbooks from scratch, not just executing existing ones
  • Background in food, hospitality, retail, or workplace experience preferred

Preferred requirements:

  • Fluent in Spanish (preferred but not mandatory)

Benefits

🩺  Health Insurance coverage

🌅 401k Plan

🌟 Eligible for a bi-annual performance bonus

🗓️ 5- year Sabbatical: After 5 years with CookUnity, you get a 4-week paid sabbatical

Project Management Environmental Project Manager (Engineering) at Tradewater

Manages environmental projects identifying and mitigating orphaned oil/gas wells, coordinating field operations, data analysis, and carbon credit verification.

Mid Remote Posted about 20 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Tradewater

Environmental Project Manager (Engineering)

Location: Remote, U.S. or Canada

A certified B Corp, Tradewater is on a mission to bend the curve on global warming as quickly as possible, directly combating climate change by identifying, collecting, and mitigating the release of non-CO₂ superpollutants—including old refrigerants, excess halons, and methane. These actions reduce potent greenhouse gases, protect the ozone layer, and generate high-integrity carbon credits that fund and expand our mission worldwide. Our projects also create measurable social and economic value for local communities, creating long-lasting benefits that strengthen economies and improve ecosystems endangering public health.

Targeting superpollutants offers one of the fastest, most cost-effective climate strategies available today. These non-CO₂ gases drivenearly half of all human-caused warming, areexponentially more potent than CO₂, and cannot be removed from the atmosphere once released. Cutting halocarbons and methane delivers bigger and faster climate benefits than CO₂ reductions alone and leading models, from MIT to the IPCC, agree that tackling superpollutants is essential to any credible net-zero pathway.

Since 2012, Tradewater has prevented over 11 million tons of CO₂ equivalent from releasing into the atmosphere and are on path to prevent at least 30 million tons by 2030. We are committed to bending the curve on global warming as quickly as possible and delivering trusted, measurable, scalable climate impact today.

The Opportunity

To support its growth in plugging orphaned oil and gas wells, Tradewater is seeking an Environmental Project Manager (Engineering) to help fight climate change in a tangible and meaningful way. About Fundraise Up

We’re Fundraise Up - a global fundraising platform built to make donating to nonprofits fast, seamless, and accessible to all. Every month, our technology powers tens of millions of dollars in donations across the globe. We focus on innovation that directly impacts results: faster load times, higher conversion rates, global payment support, and accessibility-first design.

Our platform is trusted by many of the world’s leading nonprofits, including UNICEF, the Alzheimer’s Association, and a wide range of global NGOs. With a 4.9⁄5 rating across top software review platforms, we’re recognized not just for our impact - but for the quality of the product we deliver.

A Truly Global Product

We operate in the enterprise segment, serving nonprofit organizations across North America, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Europe.

We’re building a large and complex product ecosystem that serves nonprofits, donors, and partners around the world. The platform includes a modern checkout experience and customizable widgets (each a standalone SPA), donor, organization, and partner portals, admin tools, and several internal apps.

Our backend is powered by Node.js (Koa, NestJS) and MongoDB. The frontend stack includes Webpack, Vue.js, and React, with nearly all code written in TypeScript. For high-throughput messaging and background processing, we use Kafka (for millions of events) and Bull (Redis). Analytics data is stored in ClickHouse, and we use Elasticsearch for search.

The Team

We are a distributed team of 160+ product professionals, including 80+ engineers. Our team members are mainly based across Spain, Poland, Portugal, Georgia, Armenia, Serbia, Turkey, and Cyprus. Despite our scale, we operate like a focused team — where every task matters and every voice is heard. We value thoughtful collaboration, strong engineering practices, and a product mindset.

About the Role

Engineering orgs rarely stall because nobody can decide. They stall because nobody owns the decision.

You build and run the operating system of our engineering organization: the leadership cadence, the OKR and QBR cycle, the record of decisions and follow-ups, and the executive synthesis that reaches the CTO, the exec team, and — when the topic calls for it — the CEO and board. You work through process and influence rather than line authority; the engineering directors continue to report to the CTO, and architecture and technical strategy stay with the CTO, the directors, and our staff and principal engineers.

This is a senior leadership role, not an executive-assistant one. You are not measured by how much you own — you are measured by how fast ownerless chaos becomes clear ownership, and how cleanly you hand it off. Our engineering leadership and much of the company work in English across European and US hours.

What You’ll Do

  • Run the engineering leadership cadence. Own director-level syncs and the leadership rhythm end to end: agenda, documented decisions, follow-through.
  • Take over the quarterly OKR and QBR cycle. This sits with the CTO personally today and is the single biggest reason QBR consumes his time. You drive teams to set and update objectives, chase the follow-ups, surface where they slip, and prepare the reviews.
  • Keep one live record of leadership decisions and commitments, and chase every one to closure by its agreed date.
  • Scan continuously for stalled or ownerless cross-team work — the kind that quietly dies when a delegated project’s loop never closes — and bring it back on track with a named owner.
  • Drive special projects to a chartered state, then hand them off — and stop holding them. Recent live examples: rolling out a new product-defined work-distribution model and its org-structure documentation; standing up a cross-departmental data team and driving the Analytics-vs-Engineering ownership question to a decision; running vendor selection, procurement, and the CEO-facing business case for an external security-consulting engagement; coordinating an internal AI-agent platform program across several teams; running technical audits, platform evaluations, and tool pilots. You own the coordination, planning, and tracking — the technical substance and the buy-vs-build verdict stay with the relevant engineers and leaders.
  • Turn complex organizational and project inputs into concise, decision-ready material for the CTO, the executive team, and board-level audiences.
  • Facilitate delegated decisions to closure — documented, escalated when they stall, communicated to the people they affect — so nothing waits on a calendar slot or gets re-litigated. You drive the process; you do not speak for the CTO or make the call in his place.
  • Standardize how engineering leadership plans, tracks, and communicates. Build the rituals, templates, and operating rhythm that keep the org coordinated without being prescriptive at the team level.
  • Partner across the organization on cross-cutting initiatives, procurement, pilot contracts, and engineering tool budgeting — see the interfaces below.

At Fundraise Up, AI is a default tool, not an experimental one. We expect every team member to actively use AI in their day-to-day work, identify where AI can change the shape of problems in their function, and grow their fluency as the tools evolve.

Cross-Department Interfaces

  • Engineering Directors — alignment on execution, OKRs, and resolution of systemic bottlenecks. These are the people whose initiatives you coordinate without managing.
  • Product — new work-distribution models, the AI-agent platform, and most cross-cutting initiatives originate or terminate here.
  • Data / Analytics — the data-team ownership question and the data/agent platform sit across this boundary.
  • Executive Team — data gathering and synthesis for board meetings and executive reporting.
  • BizOps — co-stakeholder on security and other operational initiatives.
  • Finance, Legal & IT — procurement, contract negotiation for pilots, and engineering tool budgeting.

Role Boundaries (What You Won’t Do)

  • Administrative Support. This is a senior leadership role, not a PA or EBA.
  • Technical Authority. You do not own architecture or technical strategy, and you are not expected to be the technical authority in the room or to arbitrate engineering trade-offs. Those stay with the CTO, directors, and staff/principal engineers.
  • Direct Execution. You do not manage engineering teams or own product delivery timelines. These remain with the engineering directors.
  • Final Accountability. You operate within the CTO’s established direction and facilitate decisions; you do not make them in his place. The CTO retains final accountability for technical strategy, allocation, and organizational structure.

Key Performance Indicators

The first 90 days are about setup, not metrics: establish the cadence, map the ownerless initiatives, take over the OKR/QBR loop, and set the baselines. From there, reviewed quarterly:

  • % of leadership follow-ups closed by their agreed date.
  • Cross-team initiatives with a named DRI and a live checkpoint — versus work that is ownerless or untracked.
  • OKR freshness — share of engineering OKRs with a current owner, status, and checkpoint date, with drift reduced quarter over quarter.
  • Operational threads removed from the CTO’s plate, quarter over quarter.
  • Stalled or lost cross-team projects surfaced and reactivated per quarter.
  • Initiatives handed off to a permanent owner — versus retained personally. A rising “retained” count is a warning sign, not a success.
  • % of hand-offs that actually landed — with an accepted owner, scope, next checkpoint, and success criteria, so a hand-off is a real transfer rather than a formal toss.

Requirements

  • Engineering-operations / TPM leadership. A track record running the operating system of an engineering organization — most likely as a TPM lead, head of engineering operations, or equivalent. You have owned cadence, planning, and cross-team coordination at org scale.
  • Cross-functional delivery. Demonstrated ownership of ambiguous, multi-team initiatives that you coordinated, drove, and landed through influence without direct authority.
  • Executive synthesis. A track record of turning raw, complex information into brief, decisive, executive-level material.
  • Operating discipline. You build durable systems and follow-up loops, not just meetings.
  • Works well with engineers. You operate effectively alongside engineers, EMs, and directors and earn their trust through reliability and follow-through. Enough fluency to follow technical discussions and coordinate them — without needing to be the technical authority or make architecture calls.
  • Languages: Fluent English (C1+) and Russian for internal and external technical communications.

Nice to Have

  • Prior Chief of Staff, Engineering Operations, or TPM-lead experience reporting into engineering leadership.
  • Experience driving operational efficiency in engineering orgs of 100+ people, including use of automation and AI tooling to keep teams lean.
  • Procurement, vendor-contracting, or budgeting experience.
  • Nonprofit-tech or payments-domain familiarity.
  • Familiarity with our environment is an advantage: Node.js/NestJS, React, MongoDB, ClickHouse, Kafka, Cloudflare; PCI DSS 4.0.1, SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001.

You’ll Thrive Here If You

  • Find an ownerless problem and can’t leave it alone until it has a name attached to it.
  • Would rather build the loop that closes follow-ups than personally chase every one forever.
  • Can say “this decision is stuck and here’s who needs to make it” to a director — and stay welcome in the room.
  • Hold your position with senior people when you believe you’re right, and change it quickly when you’re not.
  • Measure yourself by what you successfully gave away, not by what accumulated on your plate.
  • Write clearly and short, especially when the underlying situation is messy.
  • Take the operating cadence seriously as a product: versioned, improved, and never left to run on habit.
  • Are motivated by what the platform funds — the nonprofits on the other side of every donation.

Compensation

  • The compensation range for this role is: €7,700 - €8,800 gross per month.
  • Final compensation will be determined based on relevant experience, skills, qualifications, and alignment with the role’s requirements.

Benefits

  • Private medical insurance for the employee and their family
  • 22 paid vacation days per year
  • Up to 14 paid public holidays per year
  • 5 company-paid sick leave days
  • English learning courses
  • Relevant professional education
  • Gym or swimming pool
  • Home Office Setup Assistance: the company offers assistance with purchasing furniture (office chair, office desk, monitor) and other items to create a comfortable workspace
  • Co-working
  • €50 monthly allowance to cover internet and mobile phone expenses
  • Remote working

What this role involves

Highlights:

  • Location: Serbia, Remote
  • Language: Fluent in English and Russian

Project Management Airtable: Program Manager, Professional Services - West

Lead end-to-end delivery of complex enterprise Airtable implementations, managing teams, partners, customers, and scope across technical and organizational challenges.

Senior Remote Posted 1 day ago We Work Remotely — Programming
What this role involves

Headquarters: San Francisco, CA; Remote - US

Airtable is the no-code app platform that empowers people closest to the work to accelerate their most critical business processes. More than 500,000 organizations, including 80% of the Fortune 100, rely on Airtable to transform how work gets done.

Work is being redesigned, and Airtable is built for that moment: the same platform humans run their most critical workflows on is where agents now operate alongside them. Professional Services is where that redesign happens.

The Technical Project Manager runs delivery on our most complex engagements. This is not a coordination role; it's a technical delivery lead position with accountability across an Airtable PS team, external development partners, and enterprise customer stakeholders, all moving toward shared milestones across different cadences, compliance requirements, and organizational dynamics. You sequence the work, hold the relationships, and make real-time decisions when plans meet reality.

What you'll do

  • Serve as the primary delivery lead for enterprise customers, owning the relationship, the plan, and the outcome from kickoff through go-live and beyond.
  • Run delivery across all workstreams: internal team, external partners, customer stakeholders, managing progress, blockers, and alignment simultaneously.
  • Own the project plan end to end: scope, schedule, budget, risk register, and RAID log across the full engagement lifecycle.
  • Make technical sequencing decisions when platform constraints, compliance requirements, or partner dependencies force tradeoffs.
  • Guide customers through AI workflow transformation, helping them move from human-run processes to AI-augmented and agent-assisted operations, and managing the organizational dynamics that come with it.
  • Use AI tools actively in your own delivery operations: status reporting, risk synthesis, documentation, and stakeholder communication. You don't just manage teams using AI; you use it yourself.
  • Manage scope formally: track change requests, assess impact on timeline and budget, and run the change order process when the engagement evolves beyond the original SOW.
  • Sequence work across Agile sprint cycles and Waterfall delivery milestones depending on what the engagement demands, and shift the model when reality requires it.
  • Hold external partners accountable across organizational boundaries, by relationship and clarity, not authority.
  • Coordinate compliance, security, access management, and third-party approvals in regulated enterprise environments.
  • Keep executive stakeholders accurately informed without requiring them to understand the technical details.
  • Work directly in Airtable as an operational tool; hands-on platform fluency is required.

Who you are

  • You have delivered technical programs for external customers in a professional services or consulting context, not just managed internal projects. You've run steering committees, managed scope conversations, and owned customer outcomes with real accountability.
  • 5+ years managing technical delivery in complex, multi-stakeholder environments, with accountability for outcomes across teams you don't directly control. You lead through influence and clarity, not organizational authority.
  • You are genuinely fluent with AI tools, not aspirationally. You use AI in your daily delivery workflow, have an informed perspective on where agentic systems create leverage and where they introduce risk, and can help customers navigate both.
  • You have worked directly in Airtable or a comparable platform, not managed people who do. You understand how components interact, identify dependency and sequencing issues by looking at the system, and build the tools your team uses to run delivery operations.
  • PMP or equivalent PMO certification. You know formal project management methodology and apply it as the structure that keeps complex engagements from quietly going off course.
  • You operate fluidly across Agile and Waterfall. You know which model fits the engagement and can run both without defaulting to whichever is more comfortable.
  • When plans break, you create order. You don't wait for someone else to lead.
  • Delivered in enterprise environments with real compliance, security, and access management requirements. You plan around constraints, not past them.
  • Track record of coordinating delivery across organizational boundaries: external partners, customer teams, or both.
  • You communicate across the full room: executive-ready updates for C-level stakeholders, direct technical direction for delivery teams, and clear framing for the business SMEs whose work is changing.

Airtable is an equal opportunity employer. We embrace diversity and strive to create a workplace where everyone has an equal opportunity to thrive. We welcome people of different backgrounds, experiences, abilities, and perspectives. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, protected veteran status or any characteristic protected by applicable federal and state laws, regulations and ordinances.
